Serendipity

Have you ever been late, to luckily find that there’s no traffic? Have you ever forgot your wallet, and luckily found 20$ on the street. Well, that’s all because of serendipity.

The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines Serendipity with the simple definition of luck that takes the form of finding valuable or pleasant things that are not looked for.The word serendipity is one that is not well known. It’s one of my favorite words because I associate so much with it. We all encounter “luck” in our lives, some are just more lucky than others.

Serendipity is almost like an all knowing figure, this sweet serendipity is always there and it always gonna save you. You can reply on serendipity.

I’ve always been intrigued by the concept of luck and coincidence, how it all is related to the the fabric of time.  All of its related, in a circle. Luck is independent of time.

The whole concept is a bit of a blur. It reminds me of a city at dusk, with all the twinkling lights. Its all a blur, you can pinpoint where and how each light is shining. Alike to luck, you can never know when it’ll occur.

Whenever you’re funning late, missing an object, or attending an event serendipity will motivate you and keep you going.

An emblem of this serendipity is the song by Lee DeWyze, entitled sweet serendipity. In this song he sings about how he can always count on ‘sweet serendipity’. The chorus of the song goes:

And I’m doing just fine
I’m always landing on my feet
In the nic of time
And by the skin of my teeth
I ain’t gonna stress
Cause the worst ain’t happened yet
Somethings watching over me
Like Sweet Serendipity
Sweet Serendipity

The chorus is trying to explain how he is always saved by sweet serendipity and how he feels like it is almost an actual person watching over them. This song is always an uplifting turn to jam out to.

Here’s the link, go ahead and listen to the song. Its one of my favorites!
